Raw Apple Cake

3/4	C	shortening
3	C	chopped apples
2	C	sugar
1/2	C	water
3		eggs
3/4	tsp	salt
3/4	tsp	Cinn
3/4	tsp	allspice
1/2	tsp	nutmeg
1 1/2	tsp	baking power
1/2	tsp	soda
3	C	flour
		Bake at 350( - 45 mins.
		Topping:
2	Tbsp	shortening
1/2	c	br sugar packed
2	Tbsp	cream
		Bring to a tolling boil add 1/8 tsp salt and 1 tsp karo syrup. Put on cake while warm.
