Sift 2 cups white flour, salt and yeast into mixing bowl. | ||
| Dissolve honey and butter in hot milk, then cool to luke warm. Add to the | ||
| flour mixture. Beat 2 minutes on medium. Add 1 cup whole wheat(white) | ||
| flour and beat 2 minutes on high. Mix in rest of flour to make a stiff but | ||
| sticky dough. Knead mixture by hand or use dough hook on your kitchen aid. | ||
| (add more flour if needed) | ||
| Place dough in a greased bowl, turn once to grease top. let raise till | ||
| double (abut 1 hour) Punch down and form into 2 dozen rolls. Place on a | ||
| grease jelly roll pan(cookie sheet) and let raise till double. (they will be | ||
| touching each other). When you let the dough rise, you should cover it, I | ||
| usually place a towel or plate over the bowl and a dish towel over the | ||
| rolls. | ||
| Bake 12-15 minutes at 400 degrees. |
