1lb ground beef or turkey
1Tdried minced onion
1tspdried oregano
1tspcayenne (or to taste)
3Tchili powder
2-4clovesminced garlic
6oztomato paste
16ozdiced tomatoes

mushrooms, zucchini, yellow squash, onions, peppers…. whichever veggies you want to add
Brown meat with garlic and minced onion (or real onion if you choose to use it.) Puree diced tomatoes with tomato paste and add to meat. Add seasonings and mix well. Vegetables can be added according to how long you want them to cook (I usually add zucchini and yellow squash at the very end and only cook for a few minutes, but the mushrooms can go in at the beginning.) Simmer ~ 40 minutes. Add a little water if needed.
